Parking feels claustrophobic!!! The pool area looks abandoned, and the outer areas are neglected with unsightly pipe work!!! The location near a busy junction isn’t ideal for a peaceful retreat!!!

Couldn't recommend more for a stopover

The stay was quite pleasant overall. I particularly enjoyed the cozy bed which allowed for restorative sleep after a day exploring local attractions like the Museum of Art and Bubblegum Alley. The location was convenient, making it easy to walk around and check out nearby dining options. The room could use a little TLC, as some furniture felt dated, but it was adequate for my needs. A relaxing night at an affordable price is always a win in my book.

Plus, the location was solid with easy access to some fab spots like Cowgirl Cafe and Mr Pickle's Sandwich Shop. I also appreciated the comfy bed and reasonable price—definitely a steal for the area!

When I tried to extend my stay, the staff played a bit of hide and seek with room availability. They even claimed my online reservation was 'lost' while I was clearly showing proof on my phone! Just a little too much drama for my taste, honestly. Next time, I might check out somewhere else for a longer visit.

i really appreciated the friendly staff who were always smiling and helped us feel welcome. Being just a short walk to lovely spots like Dallidet Adobe and Gardens made my strolls enjoyable and easy. you get a clean and comfortable room here, perfect for a single traveler like me, but the noise from the street can be a little disruptive at times.

The room was pretty clean and comfortable, with a nice air conditioner, refrigerator, and TV. The bathroom had both a shower and a tub. It's right next to a 24-hour Jack in the Box, and the beach is just a quick 20-minute drive away. Perfect for a budget trip!

The exterior seemed neglected, littered with cigarette butts and debris. Parking was tight, which might be a hassle during busier times, and the breakfast option was minimal at best—just cut-up muffins and basics like coffee and juice. The communication method at the front desk felt a bit archaic, as it requires speaking through a small plexiglass window, which can be a bit unsettling.

It was just an optimal selection for a short weekend trip in San Luis Obispo with best value for money ratio. The freeway noise was loud, but fortunately, the other guests were not noisy at all. Consider bringing your own water bottle as the complimentary drinks were not great.
